             1840 Scott Co census, Timothy Dalton, 01002001-0101101.
             Timothy lived in the part of  Scott Co that became Mississippi Co by 1850.

                   Had 13 ch and lived in St Francois Co, Mo.

2.   John W. Dalton, b 1809, d 1850 Mississippi Co, Mo, m 28 Dec 1828 to Louisiana Matthews..

3.   Enos Dalton, b 1811, d 1876, m(1) 1845, m(2) 1851 to Judith Chapman.

4.   Nancy Dalton, b 24 Jun 1812, d 20 Sep 1880, m Oct 1847 to Thomas Ward.

5.   Timothy Dalton, b ca 1816, d 1858, m Ann Stewart, b 1825, d 1867.

6.   Henry Dalton, b ca 1820, d 9 Mar 1866, m 2 Jan 1845 to Nancy Elmira Hutson.  She m(2) ____ Lee and m(3) ____ Snelling.

7.   Lewis Dalton, d 1844, m 1844 to Mrs Elizabeth McKenzie b ca 1805.  She had m(1) ____  McKenzie, s/o Asa McKenzie.

8.   Betsy Dalton, m 13 Jul 1843 to Robert Lucas.

9.   Nancy Dalton, m Oct 1847 to Thomas Ward.

10.   William Dalton.   The affadavit below has a footnate saying he was b ca 1826, d ca 1864, m Sarah Jennings.  This confuses
                   him with
William Dalton (#35) of Carroll Co, Va.

11.   Sarah Dalton, m 1848 Mississippi Co to Garner Davis.
                   Not  mentioned in affadavit below.

12.   Nathaniel Dalton. Claimed to be a half brother of Reuben Dalton.
