The Monitor-Herald" (Calhoun City, Calhoun Co., MS), 25 Aprl 1940: MRS. NINNIE GOAD DIES IN ROCKY
.                                 MOUNT COMMUNITY TUESDAY, APRIL 23- Mrs. Ninnie Goad, age, 71, widow of the late H.D. Goad, died in
.                                 the Rocky Mount community on Tuesday, April 23. Funeral services and interment took place at Sarepta Wednesday
.                                 morning, the services being conducted by Rev. Floyd Brasher, assisted by rev. J.B. McGreger. Pryor Funeral Home
.                                 directed the rites.  Mrs. Goad was, before her marriage, Miss Ninnie Ferguson, and was widely known over the
.                                 northern and eastern part of the county. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was a splendid Christian woman.
.                                 She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Tom Ferguson, Rocky Mount community; Emery Ferguson,
.                                 Houlka; Mrs. Kittie Joyner, Toccopola, and Mrs. Lula Tutor, Pontotoc.
